Chesterfield FC

Chesterfield FC was founded in 1867, though its history includes several incarnations of local clubs dating back to the mid-1860s. Key highlights include joining the Football League in 1899, becoming a founder member of the Division Three North in 1921, winning the League Two title four times (1969-70, 1984-85, 2010-11, 2013-14), and being promoted to the English Football League in 2024 after winning the National League. The club also reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 1997 and won the League Trophy in 2012.
