Manchester City FC

Manchester City FC was founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton) before becoming Manchester City in 1894. The club experienced its first major period of success in the late 1960s and early 1970s, winning the league, FA Cup, League Cup, and the European Cup Winners' Cup. The club then saw a resurgence following a 2008 takeover and the 2011 FA Cup win, leading to a new era of dominance with multiple Premier League titles, domestic trebles, and their first UEFA Champions League title in 2023.
