Leyton Orient FC

Leyton Orient was founded in 1881 as Glyn Cricket Club, evolving through several names including Orient FC (1888), Clapton Orient (1898), and Leyton Orient (1946) before returning to the final name in 1987. The club joined the Football League in 1905 and reached its highest point of promotion to the First Division in 1962-63.
