Manchester City Women: An Oral History

A limited edition paperback book on the history of Manchester City's Women's team since its launch in 1988 through to the summer of 2019.

Written by renowned football historian Dr Gary James this book will provide the story of the Club, as told to Gary by the players, coaches and fans of the club. Gary attended the first game of the original Manchester City Ladies team in 1988 and has for the last couple of years been capturing the stories of the women involved throughout the Club's history.

Heavily illustrated and produced in a similar size and style to Gary's Manchester City Folklore book this promises to be the most detailed history of a current Women's Super League team ever produced. Written in an accessible style following in-depth interviews this book is destined to be regarded as the ultimate Manchester City Women's history book.
